Keeping Our Alliance Shippers Inc. Family And Community Safe (COVID-19)

Englewood Cliffs, NJ — As the COVID-19 situation develops across the country, we want to assure our employees, our customers, and our community of the steps we have already taken in our business preparedness plan. We immediately assembled our Executive Team to begin a plan of action for our company. On both our International and Domestic divisions, we understand the important role that we play in the management of our customer’s import, export and other important transportation needs. We would like to share with you some steps with you that we are taking.

Our Executive Team is monitoring the most up to date information from public health and government agencies on an ongoing basis. We are also working with information from hospitals and health care providers.

Immediately an Executive Team was assembled 100% dedicated to formulating a response to the COVID-19 outbreak without a service interruption to our customers. This Team is constantly monitoring the situation, adjusting where necessary, and using the most up to date information from public health and government agencies to guide us.

As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. We have put restrictions on travel, postponing large-scale events, limiting the size of meetings, providing remote-work solutions, and continue to reinforce safe behavior in every environment – customer meetings, office visits, ramped up daily deep-cleaning initiatives using sanitizers and protective supplies are a few of many prioritizing steps. Additionally, we have protocols in place limiting access into our office, and adequately spaced work stations.

We are in continuous communication about good hygiene, providing our employees with tips on maintaining ways to avoid the virus, and support whenever needed. Plans for employees who feel ill are told to not report to work and immediately communicate with their personal physician so that they get the care necessary.
