As a Logisitcs Specialist, you provide integral support between our carriers and sales team. The Details
  • Manage a high volume of inbound/outbound calls to ensure on-time service performance. 
  • Be the liaison between our Carriers and Sales team throughout shipment life cycles.

  • Identify carrier opportunities by mode as well as solicit new carrier business.

International Export Coordinator

The Role:

Our International department is seeking an Export Customer Service Representative with a thorough knowledge of Ocean Exports and Excellent Customer Service skills who can handle all aspects of Ocean Exportation from A to Z to join the Alliance Team.

 

Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely, and friendly customer service to offices and/or agents via phone, fax, e-mail, as required.
  • Receive booking requests and provide confirmation of bookings to agents and shippers
  • Arrange booking with the ocean carrier according to the request by the agent or shipper
  • Prepare and process export shipping documents to include SLI, C/I, P/L, Delivery Orders, Arrival Notices and Ocean Bills of Lading.
  • Check documents received and review for accuracy according to export/destination compliance 
  • Communicate with warehouses to coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Submit final shipment details via MBL to the ocean carrier (AES filing).
  • Send pre-alerts to destination agents
  • Open files, prepare billing and closing files.
  • Track and trace shipments
  • Provide quote rates upon request

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years Industry Experience in Ocean Exportation

Logistics Sales Manager

The Role

The Customs Brokerage Entry Writer will need to provide excellent customer service, clear and deliver freight, prepare and file compliant and accurate Customs/PGA entries and generate revenue through accurate and complete billing.

Quality Assurance Carrier Maintenance Coordinator

The Role

  • Responsible for reviewing new carrier packets, inputting the required information into the system, and ensuring the proper documentation is captured.
  • Handle carrier set up process directly with carriers once the carrier is approved; relay any delays in activation promptly to individual requesting activation.
  • Responsible for carrier insurance updates in our systems
  • Handle weekly carrier insurance reports by requesting updated certificates of insurance from our carriers whose insurance has lapsed
  • Handle weekly reports to Alliance offices listing carriers to be inactivated for that week, and inactivating those carriers at weeks’ end
  • Handle Carrier Monitoring reports which generates 2-3 times a week, review information verified to ensure systems are updated

  • Target, identify, and seek new and existing customers strategically through planned daily solicitation via cold calling, email, social media, referrals, and other networking opportunities.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of current market conditions and business trends.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers with persistent communication and exceptional service.
  • Connect our comprehensive list of services to meet the logistics needs of customer decision makers through customized solutions.
  • Provide direct highway services for customers through our network of carriers and serving as the direct contact between customer, carrier, shipper and receiver.
  • Manage the successful movement of customer freight ensuring pick up, delivery and invoice are to customer’s expectation.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams for solution development on our additional product offerings.
  • Develop and review personal goals routinely with management team for individual and department growth as well as employee development.
